Hi I have an eleven year old Westerly Corsair, when I lifted out in 98 I noticed several blisters on the hull in a line the same area on each side of the hull, these blisters are easy to burst with a coin or even a finger nail, the smell of the liquid that comes out I have been asured confirms Osmosis, these blisters are not very deep and are easilly ground out, they are not all over the hull, just a diagnal line running down from half way up to the watrline down to the Heads seacock, they are the same on both sides of the hull there is no seacock on the Starboard side, the only comondenomenator is what appears to be a beam that is glassed into the inside of the hull I assume to give extra stength to the hull. I polan to have the hull treated, and have been waiting to hear ofan agent who could caarry out the HYAB cure, I would happily take my boat abroard, Spain France anywhere in the EEC please can you recomend a agent I live in the UK North west.
Regards MIke.
