I have just bought a 1973 Seamaster which has blistering almost exclusively on one side of the hull. When they're burst, the resulting leak of fluid is certainly acidic. The boat cost 3000 UK pounds sterling; I suspect that major repairs will not be cost effective. The anti fouling really needs to be redone - am I right in thinking that the best course of action is to simply burst the blisters, pressure wash, allow to dry, and apply fresh antifouling?
Is it possible to give some guidelines as to cost of more permanent repairs?
By the way, congratulations on a most useful and informative site.
