dear bengt

i have a ketch rigged atlantic clipper 36 built by phillips in england. last year i had the hull sand blasted to remove most of the gelcoat due to blistering. the blisters were no bigger than pea size and it was my intention to have the hull professionally treated using epoxy etc until i saw this site.
my intention is to keep the boat for 15 to 20 years and it is already 25 years old. at present the boat is standing ashore in england and other than a one week trip from portsmouth to the east coast i believe that it has been out of the water for at least 3 years.
i want to sail the boat in the next 2 years or so to the canaries and probably leave it there.
what should i do next?
the boat has a new engine and a refit has commenced and i am now cencerned regarding the investment i have made and am continuiing to make.
your earliest response would be appreciated.
regards
sean kennedy
